I think it happens just like with everything else. They sell them to stores or someone who gets them there. Its not like each time you buy a burger the money that each piece costs after that is being sent back

Oh my trucker friend, we need to take a broader world view on this don’t we? I care about a child here or there…. we are talking about someone making bowls to feed a child and you gotta drag TRADE in it???

Why don’t you get a real job?
You’r doing this because you don’t want to do any real work!

How about fair trade in America?
How about fair wages in the good old USA?
Lets send more jobs to Africa?
How about bowls made in America?

Good cause.. it would be interesting to know and have posted, what percentage of the selling price, say the $295.00 bowl, actually reaches the originating artist and her family?
Does she create a bowl and then end up with $20.00 worth or grain? How’s that work? I think by posting the percentages, you may solicit greater participation if the gains do favor the artist rather than the end merchant.

Haha, the newscaster says Africa is a particular country. Good cause though.
